Wild. Private.Uncompromised.

Limited Access. Lasting Impressions.

A place where the land, the wildlife, and the experience remain intact—kept small to preserve the moments that matter most.

The Ranch

Where the land, wildlife,
and people connect.

There are places you go to hunt.
Then there is the place you've
been looking for.

It's about moments that last—shared with the people you care about, in a place that's been carefully preserved and selectively shared.

Lost Otter Ranch exists for those who value authentic experiences in nature at its finest. Few places still deliver mornings like this—quiet, intentional, and unforgettable.

Curated for private groups, managed with deliberate habitat work, Lost Otter Ranch is offered selectively to those who'll appreciate what this took to achieve. Every blind, every spread, every detail is approached with that in mind.

What Makes Us Different

Private Ground

Exclusive access to Nebraska's premier habitat — no crowds, no chasing feeds, no tracking birds to wherever they happen to be today. We build the habitat, we scout the patterns, and we let the land do what it was designed to do. The birds come to us. We hunt and harvest with intention and strategic management, because the land that produces great hunting today has to be protected for tomorrow.

Your Hunt. Your Group. Our Pleasure.

When you book Lost Otter Ranch, you are our only clients. No mixed groups, no strangers sharing your blind, no compromises on attention or focus. Your group — up to 10 hunters — has the full operation dedicated to them. Six is our sweet spot, but however many you bring, the experience is built entirely around you.

Actively Managed

Flooded millet, native aquatic grasses, and heated pit blinds aren't accidents — they're the result of year-round habitat work and relentless attention to detail that gives wildlife every reason to stay and every guest the opportunity to experience it in comfort while maximizing every opportunity in the field.

Open Water, Guaranteed

Fourteen ice eaters run continuously through the coldest stretches of the season, keeping water alive and birds committed when other operations simply shut down.

Upland Habitat Built for Birds

Planted food plots, native grasses, and managed waterways and cover meet every need of our upland birds — pheasant and quail habitat that rounds out the experience well beyond the blind.

The resident otter

The ranch is named after the otter that has lived on the property for years—a symbol of the healthy water, thriving habitat, and balanced wildlife that define the ranch.

"We don't sell hunting trips. We invite you into a way of experiencing waterfowl that feels rare — the way it used to feel, before it got crowded and commercial."

— David Bollish, Guide & Owner

Last Chance
Goose Blast

When duck season closes, the geese are still here. The Last Chance Goose Blast is built for the hunter who isn't ready to call it a season — three nights, two full days of Canada and snow goose hunting on managed ground with the kind of setups that only come from knowing this land the way we do.
